Founded in 1927
Ettore Maggi was a prestigious engraver, who began his business producing medals with religous and advertising subjects.
From 1940 the commercial activity expanded internationally thanks to considerable increase in quantity.
While from the early 1960s, with the development of vending machines and the first amusement machines, new production technologies for tokens were introduced.
Over the years, Maggi Controls conquered and consolidated a leadership position in Italy and progressively gained the most prestigious foreign markets by introducing in its range machines for money processing, money changers, coin dispensers for amusement arcades and for vending machines.
Expertise in its field is recognized by the most prestigious British manufacturers in the sector, such as Money Controls (now CRANE), Astrosystems, Innovative Technology and Starpoint.
On the unstoppable wave of its expansion in all world markets, Maggi Controls established the company we know today the English subsidiary Maggi & Maggi UK Limited (now Maggi Electronics Ltd) in the early 90s.
After more than 90 years of activity, the third generation has taken over the reins of the company, spreading the true meaning of "made in Italy" with the production to excel in production.
From the foundation of Maggi Electronics in the UK under the guidance of Joe Pritchard the company excelled to be the leading electronics repair, rework and supply of a diverse array of electronic products.
After more than 32 years in operation on 3 different sites around the North West of England, Maggi now finds itself spread across 3 different modern workshops in the Greater Manchester area.
